Get Involved!

Every Stewardship Council offers a variety of opportunities, often in partnership with other local organizations, for youth to get involved in the outdoors. Volunteer experiences include: tree planting, shoreline restoration, stream surveys, habitat enhancement, and many more.

We often start with the
Youth Programs that are offered by MNR. The Ontario Stewardship Rangers is our flagship opportunity for youth employment.

Several of our provincial program partners offer youth conservation and outdoor programs, including:

  • Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) - Youth Get Outdoors Program
  • National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) - Jakes Program
  • Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) - GreenWing Program

To find our whether these programs are being offered in your area, contact your local Stewardship Council.
