The Wellington County Stewardship Council (WCSC) promotes the conservation and enhancement of land and environmental resources in Wellington County for today and for the future. The Council goals are to:
The WCSC is affiliated with Ontario Stewardship, a program of the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR). The program brings community members together to advocate and implement community stewardship on private and public lands. The WCSC is served by a full time Stewardship Coordinator who is an MNR staff person that facilitates council projects and activities.
