Welcome from the Waterloo Stewardship Network

Waterloo Region is a great place to live work and play. Much of the attraction to the area lies in its natural environment and prosperous economy. To keep Waterloo Region economically and environmentally healthy for future generations there is a need to plan for the future and make changes to land-use activities that are not sustainable. It is a goal of the council to help make this type of action happen. This is done through working with people and partners to provide education and on-the-ground projects that work towards creating a better environment in Waterloo.
