Peterborough County and the Ontario Stewardship Program

This website details the work that has and is being undertaken within Peterborough County to progress the uptake of good land stewardship practices for the benefit of both the private landowner and the community at large. This is only made possible by the committment and dedication of the members of the Peterborough County Stewardship Council and the private landonwers they work with.

The Peterborough County Stewardship Council is one of 46 Stewardship Councils located across the province. These councils are a part of the Ontario Stewardship Program which is supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and many dedicated volunteers and stakeholders.
