In March 2006, Ducks Unlimited Canada recognized the Rural Lambton Stewardship Network's outstanding leadership in conserving the environment by honouring them as a Diamond Heritage Sponsor.
Conservationist of the Year
Rural Lambton Stewardship Network council members have continually been recognized and honoured for their role in conservation from the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority as Conservationist of the Year for the consecutive years of 2002, 2003 and 2004.

In 2002, Doug McGee, the chairperson of the Rural Lambton Stewardship Network, was recognized for his contribution to environment.

Larry Cornelis, Rural Lambton Stewardship Network council member, was the recipient in 2003.
Friends of Nature Award

Tom Chatterton of the Sydenham Field Naturalists presented brothers Dave McGee and Doug McGee, chairperson for the Rural Lambton Stewardship Network, with the 'Friends of Nature' award in 2002.
Rural Organization of the Year

In 2002, the County of Lambton awarded RLSN with the "Rural Organization of the Year" for their significant contribution to the agricultural community in Lambton County.
P.R.I.D.E Partnership Award

In 2000, Ron Ludolph, RLSN's Stewardship Coordinator, received the Ministry of Natural Resources "P.R.I.D.E Partnership Award" (People Recognizing Innovation, Dedication, and Enthusiasm) for his outstanding contributions to natural resources management through the development of extensive, complex, and successful stewardship partnerships. The Partnership Award recognizes employees, either individuals or teams, who have facilitated partnerships.
Environmental Stewardship Award
The St. Clair River Waterways for Wildlife awarded an "Environmental Stewardship Award" to RLSN in 2000 for RLSN's efforts to conserve habitat in the St. Clair River basin.
