BASC Community Stewardship Award
This award was created in 2006 to publicly recognize the valuable contributions of individuals and businesses that are contributing to resource management stewardship in our community. The award is presented annually to an individual and to a business, and includes a $250 donation in each of the recipients' names to a local stewardship project or organization of their choosing.
Congratulations to all of the past participants of this award, and especially to our 2011 recipients - Mr. Glen Pomeroy and McGibbon Forestry (Barry McGibbon) (seen below presenting their donations to the North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery and Northern Outdoor Studies Program respectively).
